2026 Greens Project
The growing season for bermuda greens is here, and we want you to know what we will be doing over the next few months to get Ridgeview Ranch back to the green surfaces that you have come to expect and enjoy. Numerous courses throughout the Metroplex have experienced similar issues with winter kill on their greens, and unfortunately Ridgeview was also significantly impacted. Rather than waiting to see what may come back over the summer, we have decided to begin a greens resurfacing project on the following holes: 1, 4, 5, 9, 10, and the Practice Putting Green.
Beginning Monday, May 18th, we will be utilizing temporary greens on these holes, and the Practice Putting Green will be closed. You will see some scalping of the temporary greens as this process begins. These temporary greens will continuously improve as each week passes and will become playable putting surfaces. Prep work will begin so we can complete bermuda sprig installation which, weather permitting, will occur on Friday, May 22nd. The grow-in process will be a couple of months but may be slightly longer depending on weather conditions.
We will be closed on Tuesday, May 26th, for greens aerification on the other 13 greens. This is one of two planned greens aerifications for the year. The healing process for aerification will be 7–10 days, after which they will return to the surfaces you are accustomed to enjoying at Ridgeview Ranch.
Special pricing and promotions will be implemented throughout the entire process, as we understand the experience is not what you are used to. Once this renovation is completed, the playing experience will be better than ever, and we look forward to having you see the results. In the meantime, come on out and check on our progress — we remain open for play.
